Kyle Teachman NCARB



Kyle was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago where his love of architecture first emerged. His love of Lego’s and drawing brought him to from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood to pursue a Bachelors of Architecture. His work at IIT included small scale projects like a private residence and office as well as a super-tall mixed use tower and a pair of multi-unit residential towers on the Chicago River.

Upon graduation, he brought his talents in design visualization, building information modeling, and construction detailing to ARCHIDEAS. After years of intern experience and passing the ARE exams, he was awarded his architecture license in the state of Illinois. His 5 years of professional experience includes interior build outs, large scale office warehouses, retail build outs, agricultural facilities and commercial buildings.

Kyle’s love for photography began through projects in college and eventually became a passion.. He loves taking his camera around to photograph every day life, scenic architecture, or a local sporting event. In his free time, Kyle enjoys watching his Chicago Bears and spending time with his wife, his friends, and his two cats.
