A NEW 67,000 SF SALES BUILDING & IMPROVEMENTS TO 24,000 SF SERVICE CENTER ON 5.68 ACRE SITE
ARCHIDEAS and Ryan Companies modernized and expanded Resnick Automotive Groups’ Toyota Sales & Service Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. Key among improvements are a 14,000 SF showroom, 24,000 SF service center with 15’ high ceilings, and a unique covered outdoor car display arcade. To support our Client’s main objective to maximize the quantity and quality of vehicle display the design team doubled the sales space by incorporating an interior driveway around the sales workstations and displays, to emphasize the daily rotation of cars. Facility support spaces, customer restrooms, kid’s play area, customer lounge, and mezzanine level offices were also updated. The new sales center promotes Toyota’s brand identity with a partially exposed precast concrete and steel structure clad in ACM and glass.The architecture highlights the open sales area with floor-to-ceiling glass allowing daylight to floor the expansive volume of space on all sides.
