Geunho Song AIA

As a teenager, Geunho volunteered with various non-profit organizations to renovate and re-construct run-down houses in impoverished communities. Through these experiences Geunho developed an interest in sculpting form into real livable and functioning space, leading him to pursue architecture as a career. Geunho started his academic pursuit at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, earning an Associate in Applied Science in Pre-Architecture, then transferring to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned bachelor’s degree in Architectural Studies and a Master’s of Architecture. His project experience includes commercial, residential, industrial projects where he develops preliminary studies, creates construction documents, and manages the construction administration process. Geunho also works as an adjunct faculty member at the College of DuPage, the very institution where he took his first architecture classes.

When not immersed in the world of design, you may find Geunho walking other people’s dogs. While he has a great passion and love for dogs, he has never owned a dog in his life.
