8,000 SF ADDITION TO AN EXISTING DATA CENTER FACILITY
ARCHIDEAS was part of a Design-Build team lead by Ascent Corp to expand US Cellular’s existing 43,000 SF data center in Schaumburg, Illinois. The addition included 5,900 SF of ‘white space’ with supporting UPS Electrical rooms. An exterior enclosed generator yard was constructed that included two (2) new 800 kW generators. The new exterior walls around the addition screen rooftop-mounted mechanical equipment from the street and blend seamlessly with the existing building’s façade.
