CVS – Aqua Building

A 9,170 SF RETAIL FIT-OUT, ON THE GROUND FLOOR OF A MIXED-USE, RESIDENTIAL HIGH-RISE

CVS/pharmacy came to ARCHIDEAS with the desire to standardize its prototype design for the Chicago metropolitan area. Working with the local real estate developer, Gershman Brown Crowley, ARCHIDEAS used their intimate knowledge of the City of Chicago Building Code and Zoning Ordinance to enhance and ultimately realize the execution of these stores throughout Chicago’s urban and suburban neighborhoods. “Stand-alone” stores typically utilize brick and vision glass to maximize the retailer’s signage while simultaneously complimenting the streetscape. “As-Is” stores strategically adapt the prototypical layout to an existing space, presenting the additional challenge of artfully negotiating established building features.
